Windows 11 officially launches on October 5, 2021. To prepare for the rollout of the operating system, NVIDIA released GeForce Game Ready drivers that support Windows 11. In addition to supporting Windows 11, the most recent GeForce Game Ready drivers support Alan Wake Remastered, Deathloop, Diablo II: Resurrected, Far Cry 6, Hot Wheels Unleashed, Industria, New World, and World War Z: Aftermath.

The new drivers ensure that people get full support for DirectX 12 Ultimate on the best GPUs and best gaming laptops with the latest NVIDIA hardware. RTX graphics cards will also support DirectStorage.

G-Sync monitors that support HDR will be able to enhance SDR games with Microsoft's Auto HDR.

NVIDIA also announced 10 new GeForce Experience Optimal Playable Setting profiles. These profiles configure game options for your PC's hardware to optimize gameplay. NVIDIA released profiles for the following games:

  • Bravely Default II
  • Deathloop
  • GRIT
  • Icarus
  • Myst (2021)
  • NBA 2K22
  • Pathfinder: Wrath of the Righteous
  • The Legend of Heroes: Hajimari No Kiseki
  • Twelve Minutes
  • Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodhunt
